This original event poster advertises the Black Hills International Survival Gathering that was held from July 18th to 27th, 1980 in South Dakota. The poster features a drawing by M. Lindstrom of four arms of different colors encircling the globe. This event hosted 10,000 people from 40 countries and was a place to discuss the threats that the Black Hills people were facing, such as rampant energy development and genocide.
