Description
This letter from William M. Kunstler, attorney for American Indian Movement leader Dennis Banks, was sent to supporters on September 17, 1984. It explains that Banks has surrendered to authorities and is awaiting sentencing. Kunstler asks that anyone who can attest to Banks' character and background consider attending the sentencing hearing or sending letters to the judge in support.
