Description

This copy of a typed letter from Harry Belafonte was sent on September 12, 1984. Belafonte speaks in support of American Indian Movement leader Dennis Banks who faces incarceration in South Dakota for his conviction there in 1975. The letter details the accomplishments of Banks during his stay in California and demands the end of the federal persecution of Banks.
