Und wer weiß, in welcher Stunde/Uns die letzte Stimme weckt,/Denn Gott hats mit seinem Munde/Keinem Menschen noch entdeckt./Wer sein Haus nun wohl bestellt,/Geht mit Freuden aus der Welt;/Da die Sicherheit hingegen,/Ewigs Sterben kann erregen

Geburts=und Taufschein/Diesen beyden Ehegatten, als:/Valatin Wieder und seiner ehelichen/Hausfrau Susana geborne Leibertin/ist eine Tochter zur Welt geboren, den 25 Tag/Februar im Jahr unsers Herrn, 1819 Diese/Tochter ist geboren in Ober Milfort/in Lecha Caunty, im Staat Pensilvania/in Nord=America; und erhielt durch die Heil. Tauf den Namen/Susana Letische den Tag /im Jahr 1819 von dem Ehrw. Hrn. Weiß/Die Tauf=Zeugen waren: Jacob Knaus/und seine Frau Maria und die/gros Mütter Maria Knater[?]

Birth and Baptismal Certificate.

To both of these spouses, Valatin Wieder and his legal wife Susana born Leibert is a daughter to the world born, the 25th Day of February in the year of our Lord, 1819. This daughter was born in Upper Milford [Township] in Lehigh County in the state of Pennsylvania in North America, and received through the holy Baptism the name Susana Letische the day in the year 1819 by the Reverend Mister Weiß. The baptismal sponsors were Jacob Knaus and his wife Maria and the grand mother Maria Knater[?]

On this example the cherub at the top is reclined to the left, the opposite of most pieces.There is a Taufschein in Stopp for an older sibling of this child, born March 15, 1815.
