Translation
Welcome! noble little boy, welcome, dear child! Welcome! sweet little Jesus, through you my sorrow disappears.
Comment
This is one of three small fraktur that all have the name “Luesa Koehler” inscribed on them in pencil in the same hand. Because of the pietistic text and the wreath design, it is thought these are Moravian pieces. The text on this piece indicates it may have been made around Christmas.
