Description
This is the thirty-sixth page of a scrapbook assembled and presented to Eleanor Snell by her student athletes on the occasion of Snell’s retirement testimonial dinner in May, 1970.
This page features a photograph of the Ursinus College softball team on an athletic field as well as a notice from the Ursinus Weekly newspaper.
The text reads: "The girls organized a softball team which soundly trounced the Penn co-eds 44 to 5, and thereafter was unable to secure any competition; Edie Parry; Gladys Miller; Jan Heron; Jean Letty Harwood; Doris Abrams; 48"
