This gallery contains a selection of postcards from the Ursinusiana Collection featuring views of Ursinus College and other places of interest in its locality. The collection spans approximately one century, ca. 1905-1995, with most cards dating from the early part of the century when this form of communication was most prolific.
While most cards feature views of the campus buildings and scenery, some also feature the nearby Perkiomen Creek. Bomberger, Freeland, and Pfahler halls are frequent subjects, as are views of the Avenue and the old Alumni Memorial Library (now the Berman Museum of Art). The collection can be searched by building name, year, decade (1900s, e.g.) or postcard manufacturer. There are many more duplicate cards in the physical collection, some of which contain additional written messages.
