Project Description
Normally, chalcogen glasses are made with 100% raw starting materials. Our project goal was to evaluate if and how we can use scrap in addition to raw material to fabricate glass, and it’s effects on the glasses’ quality. The key properties we will be measuring will be IR Microscopy and FTIR.
