Project Description
My research for this summer is a follow-up to my film from last year about Ursinus College faculty who knit as a hobby. My Summer Fellows film expands on this work by specifically looking at individuals who have created a business out of this hobby and shows its multiple purposes. By looking at and interviewing two local businesses, Luv2Knit and Therapeutic Crafters on Call, different voices from the knitting community explain in this film what it takes to run this type of business, how a community is built, established, and how it is maintained.
