This original event poster, depicting a U.S. border patrol vehicle and barbed wire fence, promoted a conference to examine the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo with Indigenous people. The International Indian Treaty Council hosted this event in Flagstaff, Arizona from May 28th to May 30th, 1986, to discuss the treaty in terms of human rights violations and present findings to the United Nations and other international bodies.
