Description
This brochure was created by the Rita Silk-Nauni Defense Committee, circa March 1980, to raise awareness and encourage financial support for the defense of Rita Silk-Nauni. On September 17, 1979, Rita was charged with the shooting of two Oklahoma City airport security officers following an incident of harassment involving her young son. The brochure gives details of the incident and following legal developments, alleging that Rita was targeted as a minority and has not received adequate funding to mount her self-defense case. The brochure also provides contact information for donations and letters of support.
