A volume from the private library of the Reverend John Henry Augustus Bomberger (1817-1890), founder and first President of Ursinus College.
Egli, vicar of the Reformed Church in Cappel, Switzerland, was the foremost Zwingli scholar on the continent during the second half of the nineteenth century. This volume tells of Zwingli’s death.
Bomberger is known to have visited Kappel am Albis on his travels, and returned with a sample of flora from the battlefield.
