Project Description

Through outlining a queer historic interpretation of Shakespeare's King Lear, we highlight queer experience through a temporal and individual lens. Set in 1393, the protagonist, Romane, experiences a tragic unfurling of events after losing her assumed heirship to her father, Redver, fueled by transmisogynistic slander by her sisters.
