Description
This book stack was created by a first-year student at Ursinus College participating in a Common Intellectual Experience event. After a group "Stacks on Stacks" activity in Fall 2024, students were invited to submit their own individual creations in Spring 2025.
Student Statement
As Religion plays a vital role in many people's lives the exploration of the effects on teaching religions in public schools continues to be a common argument. As religion keeps becoming older, people rely on it for many things yet many people classify themselves as not religious. It is still up in the air whether or not religion should be a common theme in the public school curriculum, but with America being heavily influenced by religion it remains to be seen if it will be positively or negatively received in education.
