Description
Oil paintings on canvas depicting scenes from the artist's life interconnected with yarn. Presented as part of the 2026 Annual Student Exhibit in the Berman Museum of Art at Ursinus College.
Artist Statement
Cell considers how central memories become to our personal identity. Represented by the yarn connected in-between each painting on the sculpture, these memories may occur at different points, but all remain interwoven into identity. Each of the painted images were painted directly from a photograph and replicated in the size of the photograph to resemble the authenticity of looking through physical images.
