Description
Oil painting on wood with stained glass depicting a fish in pieces. Presented as part of the 2026 Annual Student Exhibit in the Berman Museum of Art at Ursinus College.
Artist Statement
Fish don't have any known form of memories, while people are filled with them; both comforting and uncomfortable memories. I used to joke that I would be a fish instead of a human, because then I would not have any memories either. However, this work questions whether or not that would be something truly desirable.
