Abstract

Hello everyone, and welcome to “Shallot Smith: A Sci-Fi Play”. My name is Isaiah and I wrote and directed the performance that you are about to hear. This play has two main characters. One is Anabel Lee, who lives on the moon. She makes a living selling psychedelic mushrooms and marijuana and legally. Another important character is Shallot Smith. She lives on a satellite that orbits Earth. Trapped in space with her emotionally abusive father, she is dissatisfied with her life. Things become interesting when a space-witch named Eldritch Mary attacks their ship, hoping to steal Daniel’s Quantum Bitcoin.

Marty will be playing Anabel, Eldritch Mary, and Clarissa (who comes in later). Jacob will be playing Shallot and Janet, who is Anabel’s Mom. John will be playing Daniel Smith.
