Description
There is a strong lack of medical professionals and internet access in many rural parts of the Dominican Republic. To end our experience, my cohort of students travelled to a clinic in one of these rural towns to assist the local staff. We provided education and materials to combat several common afflictions and assisted in collecting basic patient information for checkups. This is the walk from our homestay to the clinic.
