[Dear Miss Snell,]
[Hearty congratulations to you on your many successful years of teaching and coaching! I shall always remember with fondness my years at Ursinus under your tutelage. We certainly had a great group!]
[Our eldest daughter, Jill, is currently taking phys. ed. at Kearney State and loves it just as I did. In her senior year next year she will be student teaching somewhere here in Nebraska.]
[I am so sorry that I couldn't get back to toast you in person on this gala occasion!]
[If you ever get back out here to "God's country," please do stop to see us. We'd love to see you again! Jack joins me in wishing you all the very best!]
[Sincerely,]
["Rusty" H. Garlock]
