Dear Sir:
I was listening to your program over WEEU last evening. Looking over Old Almanacs of 1823, 1844, 1852, and 1865 all in German print, the Invasion of the Cross always comes on the third of May, no matter which day of the week. It is marked by a Cross in the old Almanacs.
I like your programs very much, and listen to them always. You mentioned you had Sickle Beans for planting. Please send us some. We are planting corn in a field which we call The Irish Meadow, and would like to plant some of those Sickle Beans in this field as we have had some there before.
The farm we are living on is the (Glase Farm) and is in our family name for one hundred years. Hoping to hear from you soon.
Yours truly
Glase Manwiller
