Project Description

A measurement of the ⁶¹Ni(d, pγ)⁶²Ni reaction was performed at the FSU John D. Fox superconducting linear accelerator laboratory utilizing the Super-Enge Split-Pole Spectrograph combined with CeBrA. Utilizing information from both instruments, we were able to establish a particle-gamma coincidence matrix for this reaction. Working with a GEANT4 simulation, relevant data from specific excitation energies of ⁶²Ni can be extracted. Results and potential future work are discussed.
