Project Description

A measurement of the 61Ni(d, pγ)62Ni reaction was performed at the FSU John D. Fox superconducting linear accelerator laboratory utilizing the Super-Enge Split-Pole Spectrograph combined with CeBrA. Utilizing information from both instruments, we were able to establish a particle-gamma coincidence matrix for this reaction. Working with a GEANT4 simulation, relevant data from specific excitation energies of 62Ni can be extracted. Results and potential future work are discussed.
