The indexes presented here collectively cover volumes 1-35 of the Pennsylvania Folklife magazine (originally called The Dutchman and The Pennsylvania Dutchman). Each index consists of two parts: a subject index with author and article title entries and a family name index which includes each person mentioned in the genealogical articles. All citations are in volume:issue:page format. The indexes were compiled by Judith E. Fryer, Associate Professor & Reference Librarian Emerita of Ursinus College. Bernadine T. Collin indexed the surnames in the genealogy and immigration articles.
