Project Description
This project focused on FASDs (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders) and how being exposed to alcohol in utero affects behaviors such as anxiety and motor capabilities in Swiss Webster mice who were exposed from embryonic day 7.5 to 14.5. The behavioral tests done on these mice were elevated plus maze and open field at an age range between 7 weeks to 11 weeks, and were used to determine whether a mouse being injected with ethanol would exhibit similar or different behaviors than those injected with a saline solution.
