Comments
A volume from the private library of the Reverend John Henry Augustus Bomberger (1817-1890), founder and first President of Ursinus College.
Bomberger, while mild in his endorsements, was an advocate of conversion-oriented catechetics, services, etc. Through part of the 1860s, as a pastor in Philadelphia, Bomberger served as president of the Pennsylvania Sunday School Union.
