Comments
A volume from the private library of the Reverend John Henry Augustus Bomberger (1817-1890), founder and first President of Ursinus College.
Friedrich Wilhelm was the elder son of Friedrich Adolf Krummacher. He was court preacher at Potsdam. The Krummachers were looked upon by the German Reformed of Pennsylvania as an important source of continental support. Indeed, one of them was invited to serve the infant Seminary in Mercersburg; and, while he declined, he did call the American church attention to Phillip Schaff.
