A volume from the private library of the Reverend John Henry Augustus Bomberger (1817-1890), founder and first President of Ursinus College.
In keeping with his other "evangelical" interests while a pastor in Philadelphia, Bomberger was active in the Tract Society.
Edwards was a Congregationalist leader in New England of both Tract and Temperance groups.
