Comments

A volume from the private library of the Reverend John Henry Augustus Bomberger (1817-1890), founder and first President of Ursinus College.

Books of this order, decidedly anti-Romist, served Bomberger's purposes well in his many battles against the "Romanizing tendencies" of John Williamson Nevin, Philip Schaff, their successors, and students at the Mercersburg Seminary.
