Gentlemen:
Some three months ago, in response to urgent requests on your part and at considerable inconvenience, he being exceedingly busy at that time, Assistant Secretary Wilson prepared for your publication an article on the consular service as a career for young men. You were to send Mr. Wilson copies containing his article. As it would seem that the publication of this either was not desired for some months or that you failed to send him copies as desired, he feels somewhat annoyed. Will you please inform me about this in order that I may explain the matter?
Your very faithfully,
[signature]
Private Secretary.
