My dear Mr. Stevens:

My friend Mr Willard Straight's present New York address is "care J.P. Morgan and Company." He does not leave New York until a week from today.

If you show him this letter it will serve as an introduction, for I should ask him on account of my long friendship for Mr. Morse, as well as my friendly feeling toward yourself, to place himself so far as possible at your disposition.

I am, my dear Mr. Stevens,

Yours very faithfully,
