Abstract
23&Me is a DNA collection kit that is shipped to ones home. The consumer then submits a tube with their saliva to be analyzed in the lab. These results can give the consumer a variety of information, from susceptibility to genetic diseases to ancestry information. The company has grown significantly in the past few years, raising questions about the science, ethics, marketing, and business portfolio behind the company.
