Abstract
Increased technology within modern day science that the company 23andMe utilizes has made it easier to detect Parkinson’s Disease and other types of diseases just from a mouth swab. 23andMe is a biotechnology company that provides DNA tests with several health reports, one being Parkinson’s Disease. The test detects two specific genetic variants of Parkinson’s Disease and provides the consumers with a report of if they have an increased risk of developing Parkinson’s Disease.
