Project Description
A method for the isolation of complement components 3 and 4 from bovine plasma is described, and a pull-down analysis of those proteins with the lectin-like domain of thrombomodulin is analyzed for the presence of an interaction. No definitive answers are reached regarding the presence of the interaction. Additional future studies using techniques with higher levels of sensitivity will be applied in continuing work on this project.
