Abstract

Naked Lake is an upcoming band that is queer and Philly-based. In the music community queer based music does not get as much attention because of people's implicit biases of queer and transgender people. Naked Lake speaks truth for many queer experiences, which people can learn and relate to. The goal of Naked Lake is to turn the band into a business while sharing their voices and giving back to the community.

Presented as part of the 7th annual Bear Innovation Competition. This year’s theme was ‘Meeting the Moment: Unique Ideas that Are Needed to Solve Problems and Build a Better World.”
