Artist Statement
This piece experiments with the dream world, navigating personal identity conflicts within. Each photograph shows the progression of an altered fantasy, dreaming of the blurring of identity. The eye contact with the subject is meant to show the discomfort the subject feels from the viewer’s perception before “snapping out of it” in the last photo of the series and returning to reality.
