Artist Statement
Dressing up in my mother’s clothing, and even my dad’s, was always so much fun for me. I dreamed of the day I would be able to wake up early, drink my morning cup of coffee, put on a pretty dress and heels, and go to work. However, not once did the potential of being mistreated and undervalued in my place of work cross my mind.
