Artist Statement
As a college athlete myself, I have always played sports competitively. As a little girl, I felt inspired by professional female athletes and those playing at the collegiate level. I saw their strength and determination. Through blood, sweat, and tears, they inspired generations of little girls. What I did not know was how little they were getting in return for how much they were doing for the world.
