Artist Statement
For this remix assignment I decided to insert my young adult self with my fifteen-year-old childhood dog, Lucy. In doing this it is communicating my thoughts about us aging together and looking back at all of our memories over the years. I feel like this piece is a good summary of almost all of my work over the last four years because I create artwork that is narratively driven and nostalgic. I make art as a reflection of my life, and about the people and memories that hold a lot of significance to me.
