Artist Statement
This painting is based on a short film that I made for class. I decided to film a walk through nature on the Perkiomen trail. This is a place I go to relax, disconnect from the world, and talk with my friends while taking a nice walk. I wanted to challenge myself by not using the same textures and intense colors as I did in the other painting on display.
