The Library has acquired an eclectic mix of artists’ books, zines and related catalogs in support of the Ursinus College Art Department curriculum. Many of the items represent the work of artists and art collectives based in the Philadelphia region. Most notably, the collection includes several works by Enid Mark, founder of ELM Press. These are finely crafted limited edition artist’s books that feature hand-lithography, letterpress printing, and archival hand binding.
Presented here are images of the titles in the collection. Original items are held in the Founders’ Room of Myrin Library. Please contact the Special Collections department to make an appointment to view the books in person.
