Description
Bruno Schweizer confirms that he has received notice of two ordinances. The first deals with correspondence of Ahnenerbe employees, stating that outgoing letters of a scientific nature must be signed exclusively by the president (Wüst) and all other letters must be signed by the director (Sievers). The second ordinance is concerned with publications, stating that all works by employees and associates must be submitted for approval to the president via the director. It is emphasized that this mirrors an order from Himmler to the SS and is not intended to constrain employees. Furthermore, the ordinance states that the point of view of Himmler is authoritative in case of doubt. The ordinances were sent out by Wolff and then to Schweizer by Ahnenerbe president Wüst.
