The Footed Letter scrivener could well have decorated this piece because the magenta ink color of the infill and the angels’ dresses are very similar. This artist gets his name from his manner of writing the capital letters M, N, and K with a protruding foot.1The Footed Letter scrivener also filled out the Taufschein PAG1998.208
