[Dear Miss Snell -]

[So very sorry that I am unable to attend your Testimonial Dinner. But I so much want you to know that my thoughts are with you, and wish you the very best -]

[Just taking a minute and remembering all the wonderful times at Ursinus means so much - how we have benefited from them and knowing you played the major part in them. For all this I say many thanks. Do you remember the "scream" as we sat on the gymnasium steps? Only to see it was an unwanted insect someone had placed on me consequently my nickname "Bugs"]

[I'm still getting this, but with a family of 3 girl have improved on the insect scare -]

[I'm teaching Phys Ed. 2 days a week at our Local Elem. Sch. (Beg. thru 6th) Just enjoy it so - But my husband and 3 girls keep me stepping.]

[Good health, good luck and all the very best to you for many long years of retirement.]

[My best,]

[Edith Calhoun Engle]

["Bugs"]
