Abstract

To understand the strengths and flaws of reaching equity in the United States, it is important to explore the history and current necessities of policies expanding diversity, equity, and inclusion. Much political discourse has risen in the United States over questioning the structural validity of programs such as DEI. This analysis intends to explore the necessity of the initiatives and the effectiveness of the programs.
