Volumes from the private library of the Reverend John Henry Augustus Bomberger (1817-1890), founder and first President of Ursinus College.
Neudecker, a German Protestant, taught at the Vorstadtschule in Erfurt.
The title page of volume one contains a handwritten note from Bomberger about Neudecker's subsequent work on the history of the Reformation in Germany .. "in which work he makes statements in conflict with some found in cognate articles (espec. Zwingli whom he here dispatches with a very brief notice under Ref. in Schweitz) - and far nearer the truth."
