Panel Text

Elizabeth Burns is the ultimate homebody, but in a totally good way. There’s nothing quite like snuggling up on the couch with a hot cup of tea – in her favorite mug, of course – and a good book (particularly that of the Harry Potter species). At her home located in Phoenixville, Elizabeth spends most of her time with her boyfriend Jake and other friends. She has created a comfortable, cozy environment where she is most likely to be found in her free time, and also enjoys spending time with her family. Elizabeth strives to create a comfortable sense of community wherever she goes, which includes the work she does on campus. As a recent graduate of our very own Ursinus College, class of 2012 to be exact, Elizabeth works in the Advancement Office as the Assistant Director of Alumni Relations. In her senior year, Elizabeth worked on the presidential committee for the late Bobby Fong and became involved with the Advancement Office. For her, there is nothing like creating a sense of community, and there was no better place for her than Ursinus College. Most of her work includes putting together events that bring together past and present Ursinus classes, and making campus a homier place. In the future, Elizabeth sees herself as a successful mother, putting together awesome parties through the PTA, and keeping in the business of creating community.
