Pedro Looft is one of the many safety officers who work to keep campus safe for students, faculty, and staff. He has been a part of the team since 2007, working at Ursinus for a total of fourteen years, and can usually be seen around campus on his bike. He grew up in West Chester Pennsylvania and went to Kutztown University for Business Administration. In addition to his work in the risk management field, he has also donated gallons of blood to the American Red Cross for cancer patients. As caring as he is with folks he selflessly donates to, he is equally as caring of Ursinus’ campus and its students. He “loves each day” he comes into work and is especially passionate about helping first year students feel comfortable and safe in their new home. He is a crucial member of the Ursinus community and widely loved by the student body as a safety officer.
