    Gwendolyn R. Franklin

Gwendolyn Franklin, Ursinus College Class of 2018, reflects on the continuing impact of her mentors and research as an undergraduate - including the opportunities provided by participation in the Celebration of Student Achievement (CoSA) and the Summer Fellows program. She discusses her current research as a student at Temple University, studying how anxieties surrounding strip mining and coal extraction industries in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, manifest in the form of a monster called "Mothman."
