My dear Mr. Charge d'Affaires:

Referring to our personal conversation of yesterday regarding Mrs. Valenzuela, I take pleasure in informing you that the matter has been taken up with the Solicitor General, who informs me that the appropriate District Attorney will be directed to report by telegraph today.

As soon as we have any further information upon the subject I will be glad to advise you.
