Description

In this note sent to the Head of the Sicherheitspolizei and the SD and to the Ahnenerbe, Rudolf Brandt as a representative of the Reichsführer-SS states that he is sending to the recipients copies of a paper from the Reich Association for Dowsing regarding the confiscation of literature on dowsing and pendula. He mentions in particular works published by J. Huber in Diessen vor München as well as a book from Baron von Pohl on earth radiation as a pathogen. He conveys the opinion of the Reichsführer-SS, Heinrich Himmler, that the works should be released and the Ahnenerbe consulted on all questions related to dowsing.

Chef der Sicherheitspolizei und des SD,
SS-Gruppenführer Heydrich,
im Hause

Beifolgend übersende ich in Abschrift ein Schrei-
ben des Reichsverbandes für das Wünschelrutenwesen e.V., Ber-
lin-Steglitz, Kurze Str. 14, vom 12.7.1940 betr. die Beschlag-
nahme der im Verlag J. Huber, Dießen vor München, erschienenen
Schriften über Wünschelrute und Pendel sowie das Buch des Frei-
herrn v. Pohl "Erdstrahlen als Krankheitserreger" mit der Bitte
um kurze Stellungnahme. Der Reichsführer-SS ist der Ansicht,
daß die vorgenannten Schriften möglichst schnell freigegeben
werden müßten und schlägt vor, in allen Fragen, die das Wün-
schelrutenwesen betreffen, mit dem "Ahnenerbe" e.V. Verbindung
zu halten, das über diese Dinge eingehend orientiert ist.

Ich wäre für eine baldige Übersendung der Stel
lungnahme dankbar.

durchschriftlich mit einer Abschrift des obengenannten Schrei-
bens des Reichsverbandes für das Wünschelrutenwesens e.V. mit
der Bitte um Kenntnisnahme und Mitteilung übersandt, ob dort
über die im vorgenannten Schreiben erwähnten Schriften etwas
bekannt ist.
